MIKE HIATT

Chief Engineer, Defense

Mike is the Chief Engineer and Senior Vice President of Products and Programs at Epirus. Mike joined Epirus in 2019 and leads product development efforts for Epirus’ novel defense products while also overseeing program execution to get the products in the hands of the customer.

Mike has 18 years of experience in defense and national security, and has fostered every version of Epirus’ High Powered Microwave products through the design and test, culminating in Epirus’ contract with the Army for IFPC-HPM.

Prior to joining Epirus, Mike was a Chief Engineer at Raytheon Technologies where he worked on fire-control radars for fighter jet programs.

Mike has a strong technical background, with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Physics from Cal Poly – San Luis Obispo and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California.
